New Here?

Will I be welcome here?

Absolutely!  We celebrate and support those from all walks of life, regardless of race, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, culture, or otherwise.

What if I have different beliefs about God and the Bible?

No one at St. Tims will tell you what you should believe.  We are all on a journey together to discern how we can best share God’s boundless love.

Which door to use?

Come in at the west entrance to the church (by the parking lot), and stop by our Welcome Center.

You’ll be warmly welcomed

Expect to encounter friendly faces waiting to greet you at the welcome center.  They will be happy to show you around and answer any questions you might have.

What to wear

St. Tims is a casual and comfortable worship atmosphere.  Wear whatever you like.

Bring the kids

We love seeing them in worship, and most Sundays there will be a message and activities for them.

You may participate in Communion

We typically celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month.

In the United Methodist Church, we believe that everyone has a place at the table. No matter what, you are welcome to receive communion.  Children are invited too.

Consider staying awhile afterwards

Following worship, people often linger in the great hall to visit and get acquainted.  You’re invited to join us for coffee and treats in the Fellowship Hall for more conversation.
