Opportunities to Grow - for Youth

Youth Fellowship
The youth group of St. Tims is a small group of unique, caring, and fun-loving individuals who strive to be inclusive and open in their faith. They gather on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month in the evenings. If you are a teen in grades 9-12, and you would like to share in Christian Fellowship in a relaxed atmosphere where silliness is strongly encouraged, please join us.

Annual Mission Project
Annually the Youth plan a Mission Trip; usually they choose ASP - Appalachia Service Project. They'll raise funds during the school year to pay for their trip and to pay for their building materials. In the summer they trek to remote location in the Appalachia mountains to help people there by providing livable housing.

 

Annual Souper Bowl of Caring
Each year, the Youth at St Tims have sponsored the annual Souper Bowl of Caring on Superbowl Sunday. They encourage everyone to bring at least $1 and one can of food to church. Everything that is collected that day benefits people in need right here in Blackhawk County.
