We Need You!

There are many reasons why we hope everyone in the church will participate in Time/Talent/Passions every year. 

1. We want to present each person in the church with service opportunities that enable them to follow Christ in their own unique way.
2. The more people that volunteer, the more ministry the church will be able to accomplish. The potential to build God's kingdom through OUR church is boundless.
3. When more people participate in "Time/Talent/Passions", we get a clearer picture of the interests and direction of the WHOLE church. In other words, the process can be prophetic, but only if people participate.

Please fill out your form as soon as possible.  Even though the "deadline" is past, we still want to hear from you.  Expect the ministry team leaders in your areas of interest to contact you to provide more information or see if you are ready to commit to the activity.  Those that express interest in appointed positions will be contacted by the Committee on Lay Leadership.

Learn more details about opportunities to be engaged in the life of the congregation of St. Timothys and to grow in Christian Discipleship. 

Many of the "job descriptions" originated from the General Board of Discipleship (www.GBOD.org) with their permission.  The GBOD website offers extensive resources to help leaders to grow spiritually and increase our skills to lead in congregations and the denomination.  Some of the descriptions have been modified to more closely match the way we do things at St. Timothys UMC.
