Opportunities to Grow - for the Kids
Bible Mentors
When our third graders receive their Bibles in the fall, each one is paired with
an adult who is willing to be their Bible Mentor. The mentors will help introduce
the child to his/her Bible, and share some of their own experiences in their faith
journeys with the child. Often the mentors become special friends of the children
as they continue to grow up in the faith.
Vacation Bible School
2010 Vacation Bible School will be held on Saturday, June 12 from 9:00 to
11:30 a.m. at St. Timothys.
The Theme is "The Good Samaritan -- Help Your Neighbor".
Snacks will be provided.
It's FREE!
Call the church to pre-register.
Pre-registration is not required, but helpful. If you forget to
pre-register, don't let that keep you away!
Church Camp in Iowa
There are over 500 camping options at 5 different locations around Iowa.
They include overnights with a grown-up for the little folk, to week-long
adventures for bigger kids. St. Timothys may have camperships available to
help offset the cost of attending. Contact the church office to learn
more.
The mission of the Iowa UMC's Board of Camp, Conference and Retreat Ministries:
